I really want to be able to speak Spanish fluently but I don’t really have the time or money to take Spanish classes. I’ve had a lot of Brazilian friends so I can understand some Portuguese which I know is very similar to Spanish. How can I learn to speak Spanish fluently!?

Also, how do I ask “So who is your lab partner?” in Spanish.

I know its sort of a duh thing, but I wondered if anyone learned to fluently speak spanish or really any foreign language through courses in college, or if anyone couldn’t, despite taking said courses.

When channel surfing I would always pass by the Telemundo channel and wanted to watch and enjoy the shows. The shows look so good and interesting. I tried using my close caption but of course it’s in spanish (Now I know how those who speak spanish only may feel about english speaking shows). Is there a way besides learning spanish I can watch some of these shows and have the subtitles in english (especially the talk shows)?
