Will I be able to learn anything useful from that.
I need to learn a little spanish, because I am going to Ecuador as an exchangestudent very soon.
How much will I learn from it and will it be useful ?

I hear rosetta stone is pretty good, but i’ve never used it.

I am not familiarized with Rosseta Stone at all. I have seen the infomercials, but that’s about it.
Now, to learn Spanish (or any other language for that matter), you have the 3 most important things:
1- The willingness/desire to do so
2- You are an easy/fast learner
3- You are going to spend some time in a Spanish country.
